Privacy statement

The short version

This site sets no cookies for visitors, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and does not share anything about you with third parties. The only thing it counts is how often each link is clicked, as a number per link per day, without any information about who clicked.

What is processed, and why

• Server logs. The web server (nginx) keeps standard access logs with IP address, requested URL, time and browser type for a short period to keep the site running and to defend against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Link clicks. When you click one of my links, the site adds one to a counter for that link on that day. No IP address, cookie, user agent or referrer is stored with it. There is nothing personal in it.
• Live status. Whether I'm streaming is checked by this server, not by your browser, so no request goes to Twitch, Kick or YouTube from your device until you choose to open one of those links.
• Owner sign-in. A single signed-in page (/stats) exists for me. Signing in there sets an encrypted session cookie for the person signing in only. Visitors never get one.

Third-party sites

Every link on the home page leads to another platform (Twitch, YouTube, GitHub and so on). Once you are there, their privacy policies apply, not this one.

Hosting

The site is hosted on servers in the European Union (OVHcloud, France). DNS is provided by Cloudflare.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data exists about you and have it corrected or deleted. For this site that is realistically limited to the server logs. Send me a message on any of the platforms on the home page and I'll sort it out. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
